Before assembly, put the bladders in the shock caps. Fill the cap with silicone shock oil and let sit over night. The bladder will swell 1-2mm to the perfect size of the shock cap. This will prevent any leaks and give the best shock performance. Remove the bladder and wipe any remaining oil from the cap and back side of the bladder and reinstall. Also, soak the shock o-rings in a bag of silicone oil over night before installing.
To build the shock, fill the body with oil and bleed air. Push the shaft up so the nut is 5mm below the top of the body. Fill or remove some oil so there is a dome going down towards the inside of the body. Screw on shock cap slowly to let the air and excess oil escape out the bleed hole. Tighten firmly and wipe off the oil that remains. This should give you a rebound of 50%. If you have more rebound, bleed more oil out. If you have less, add more oil and reassemble.
